- A quest sends you east to find the mega abyss cracks on the Atlas, leading away from the Well of Souls.
- Maps along the cracks contain abysses with special properties; mapping along them closes the Atlas-scale abysses and earns Abyss Atlas tree points.
- At the end of each Atlas Abyss lies an abyssal depths with a boss fight for one of the abyssal factions.
- Defeat all three factions to earn a key to the Well of Souls and face the Vessel of Kulemak.
